The garage door would only go up a few feet this morning while trying to get out the door for an appointment. Cables were hanging loose, and I knew I had a problem. I called ProLift after reading their online reviews. A lot of people made positive comments about an employee named Henry and the quality of his work. I made the call around 10:30 a.m., and the ProLift truck arrived at 12:30. It was Henry, and he diagnosed the problem in about 2 minutes, gave me a quote for the repair, and drove to the shop for some repair parts for my 20+ year-old garage door opener. He was back in 30 minutes and completed the repair quickly. He was friendly and professional and gave me tips on garage door maintenance for the future. I even scored a veteran’s discount! Henry came out yesterday, gave me a quote for my garage door system, explained everything, and told me he would be back tomorrow to complete the job. We’re good as new again
Our garage door wouldn't open suddenly, with the opener throwing a code for excessive force detected during closure. We didn't feel this was something we could do ourselves, as it was a struggle to manually raise it in order to get the vehicle out of the garage. Called ProLift based on reviews, and Henry the technician came out the same day. He was timely and very courteous. Replaced our broken spring and bearings and we're good as new again. He even took the time to show me where to lubricate the bearings and hinges in the future.

Our garage door failed to close this morning. We reached out to Central State Garage Doors, who has done the annual inspection for us for many years. They indicated that there would be an emergency charge of $499.00 just to come out, and this was excluding any repairs needed. Last night I inadvertently disengaged the garage door from the chain and couldn't get it reconnected no matter how many times I tried. I called ProLift, and the installer came out today to troubleshoot. He fixed it in two minutes. He could have charged me a service fee for coming out, but didn't since it was such an easy fix. Kudos to this company and the installer for not charging for something so simple, when they obviously could have. I would highly recommend this company for your garage door needs.
