My garage door failed as I was leaving for work in the morning. I called around to a few mom-and-pop/family shops first, and they were either booked out for days or just didn’t answer. Super professional from the moment he pulled in the driveway. He took a minute to actually diagnose the problem (it turned out I had a broken spring on my 16x7 Wayne Dalton door) and then gave me a comprehensive, easy-to-understand breakdown of the issue, the best solution, and a clear estimate before doing anything. I even took a quiet moment to fact-check him against my own research… and he was exactly right on every point.
He converted my old system over to a proper double torsion spring setup, upgraded the cheap plastic rollers that McGuinn Homes originally cut corners with to quiet neoprene/metal rollers, and backed the whole job with a 10-year warranty. Start to finish was an hour or less, and when he left it was like he’d never even been there — clean, quiet, and working perfectly.
