Travis Nicolette is the owner of ProLift Garage Doors of Charleston and specializes in residential and commercial garage door repair and installation. ProLift serves the Charleston metro area and prioritizes client experience, quality workmanship, and unmatched value. A Mount Pleasant native, Travis graduated from Wando High School in 1999 and then received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Clemson University in 2003. He worked for Verizon for 13 years in numerous sales and leadership roles and completed his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Western Carolina University in 2011.
In addition to his entrepreneurial spirit, Travis has a passion for helping others and joined the MPCC Philanthropy Committee in an effort to positively impact his community. With the help of the Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, the Philanthropy Committee was able to successfully complete numerous initiatives in 2021. These included: The Joe Brinson Scholarship donation, Journey Bag collection and donation for displaced children via Charleston County Social Services, CostCo Mt. Pleasant sponsored holiday meal and grocery delivery for 89 local families, and a donation of 2000 holiday greeting cards filled out by local school children to the Red Cross for military member disbursement.
Travis lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Liz, who is a financial planner, and his two young children, Theo and Elia. Travis enjoys spending time with his family doing outdoor coastal activities, exercising, and Clemson Football. Prior to children, he enjoyed movies and traveling.

ProLift also donated $300 worth of items for “Journey Bags” that the Charleston County DSS gives to children that are in the extremely difficult transition into the foster care system. They also volunteered time to help with outdoor projects at Sundrops Montessori on Daniel Island and sponsor numerous little league teams with the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department.

Tristan is an IDEA certified Residential and Commercial garage door technician who serves as the Field Manager for ProLift Garage Doors. Originally from Ohio, he and his wife moved to the Charleston area 3 years ago. In his free time, Tristan enjoys volleyball, hiking, and spending time with his family. Tristan's "why" for coming to work each day is to deliver an unmatched client experience, and he does this by treating every client as though they are family.

He actually corrected the problem that Integrity Garage Door Repair created because they installed the incorrect size springs for my garage door and refused to come out and correct the problem. Sam handled it with such professionalism. After he installed the correct spring size, he advised me on how to properly keep my rollers and springs lubricated. He is a great asset to your company, and you should be very proud of this young man! I definitely recommend ProLift for your garage door needs and ask for Sam!

I spoke to a representative who was so helpful to get me in contact with the owner, Tristan, on a Saturday afternoon.
He then got in contact with his technician, Jared Summitt, who came by on Saturday to look at our old garage door issues that needed immediate attention, helped us with a temporary fix, and scheduled us for the first early appointment on Tuesday!
Jared Summitt was on time for the appointment and was so very professional! He was very detailed and explained everything! My husband was working, but he took the time to explain everything to him by phone also!

We were in dire need of new garage doors. We had to close them manually they were so old, and the loud sound they made going up or down would wake the neighborhood. I researched 3 companies and met with all of them for presentations and quotes. Tristan at ProLift was my first meeting, and he showed us different options of doors, insulated vs. not, and explained the accessories. He gave me his direct phone number should I have any questions. I contacted him a few times, and he always responded quickly. Once we selected ProLift, Tristan continued great customer service on door choice, color, and window advisement. I placed a deposit, and the doors were ready within 4 weeks, as I had a custom color.
For install, Bryan and Sam were the technicians. They arrived promptly and ready to go. Any questions I had, such as the placement of the door opener (had 2 before and still wanted to keep 2), were resolved. They worked tirelessly all day, were polite, and did not stop until the job was complete. Sam made a return trip to install the outside keypads and again answered any questions and updated our remote openers to our liking. He was very helpful. We are very pleased with the final look of the doors, the windows allow light into our garage, and the LiftMaster light is very bright too. I would highly recommend ProLift Garage Doors to others.
