"I cannot say enough good things about ProLift Garage Doors of Charleston. They were in fact recommended to me by the owner of another highly respected garage door company who was out of town and unable to come. His recommendation of a competitor spoke volumes to me. I reached out to ProLift via their website to schedule an appointment to replace a broken garage door spring, and they followed up immediately and offered me a variety of appointment times to suit my needs. I am extremely impressed by their follow-up, as they kept in touch every step along the way with appointment reminders, following up the day of the service to make certain that I was satisfied, and following up a few days later to see if there was anything else they could do for me. I received a text from ProLift prior to the appointment with a photo of the technician and a short bio on his experience. This was extremely impressive. Not only did I know what the person who showed up at my front door looked like before he arrived, it was nice to know of his background and professional experience. Matt was a great technician. He was prompt, and even called to let me know that he finished a previous job earlier than expected and could come to my house if that suited me, which it did. He was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything to me in terms that I could understand, and pointed out some issues with the original garage door hardware and the way it was installed incorrectly, which could cause the spring to snap in half and fly under pressure across my garage, potentially seriously injuring me or a family member or damaging one of our vehicles. I liked that Matt offered me three options of services from which I could choose. All were very fairly priced for the value received. While I chose the basic, least expensive option for now, there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever that I should choose a more expensive option. I appreciated that, and that is why I will reach out to ProLift again for future work. From the initial phone call, follow-up phone calls, text reminders, and Matt's professional and courteous demeanor — I truly cannot say enough good things about ProLift Garage Doors of Charleston, and it will be my pleasure to recommend them to anyone in need of garage door service and repairs.
