Travis Nicolette is the owner of ProLift Garage Doors of Charleston and specializes in residential and commercial garage door repair and installation. ProLift serves the Charleston metro area and prioritizes client experience, quality workmanship, and unmatched value. A Mount Pleasant native, Travis graduated from Wando High School in 1999 and then received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Clemson University in 2003. He worked for Verizon for 13 years in numerous sales and leadership roles and completed his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Western Carolina University in 2011.
In addition to his entrepreneurial spirit, Travis has a passion for helping others and joined the MPCC Philanthropy Committee in an effort to positively impact his community. With the help of the Mt. Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, the Philanthropy Committee was able to successfully complete numerous initiatives in 2021. These included: The Joe Brinson Scholarship donation, Journey Bag collection and donation for displaced children via Charleston County Social Services, CostCo Mt. Pleasant sponsored holiday meal and grocery delivery for 89 local families, and a donation of 2000 holiday greeting cards filled out by local school children to the Red Cross for military member disbursement.
Travis lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Liz, who is a financial planner, and his two young children, Theo and Elia. Travis enjoys spending time with his family doing outdoor coastal activities, exercising, and Clemson Football. Prior to children, he enjoyed movies and traveling.
ProLift Garage Doors of Charleston is a national franchise and was established in 2020.

ProLift also donated $300 worth of items for “Journey Bags” that the Charleston County DSS gives to children that are in the extremely difficult transition into the foster care system. They also volunteered time to help with outdoor projects at Sundrops Montessori on Daniel Island and sponsor numerous little league teams with the Mount Pleasant Recreation Department.

Tristan Field Manager
Tristan is an IDEA certified Residential and Commercial garage door technician who serves as the Field Manager for ProLift Garage Doors. Originally from Ohio, he and his wife moved to the Charleston area 3 years ago. In his free time, Tristan enjoys volleyball, hiking, and spending time with his family. Tristan's "why" for coming to work each day is to deliver an unmatched client experience, and he does this by treating every client as though they are family.
Jared Technician
Jared has worked in the garage door industry for 10 years. He has a true passion for his craft and is an IDEA certified garage door technician. In his free time, he enjoys offshore fishing, watching movies, and working out. Nick Warehouse Lead
Nick is a US Navy Reservist and a former active duty submariner turned garage door specialist. He is responsible for ensuring our team members and our clients get what they need, when they need it, and ensures the efficiency and organization of our North Charleston warehouse and showroom. My old Chamberlain garage opener's circuit board got zapped in the last thunderstorm that came through our area here in Summerville and the motor wouldn't lift the door anymore. I had some choice when it came to garage door repairs, but I settled on ProLift because their reviews were so good.

Ralph was great. He took the time to show me exactly what was wrong with my old unit and explain how to use the nice new LiftMaster unit he mounted in its place. He even took the time to help me program the new opener into my truck and also gave me a surge protector to plug the new unit into. Now I'm better protected from a power surge. I appreciated that.
The new opener is so quiet, and Ralph installed everything in just a little over an hour.
Thank you to Ralph and ProLift Garage Doors for quality service. My recommendation is if you need some garage door repairs, don't hesitate to call these folks.

When Dana took my call Wednesday morning, I never thought by that afternoon my problem would be solved. I sent her some photos, and when she called me back to tell me that someone could be there that day, I was greatly surprised.
My time slot was 3-5 PM. Ralph Stanley (I thought I would get some Bluegrass music also) called at 2:17 and said he was a few minutes away and asked if it would be OK to come early. What a nice concern that was.
Ralph arrived, covered three options, told me there would be no Bluegrass show, and proceeded to repair my garage door. Ralph knew exactly what to do (had all the required parts on his truck!!!) and wasted no time or movement in the process.
I did force Ralph to chat a little after he finished, and he was very gracious with his free time.
