In Oct '24 the spring on our older overhead door broke. No cord on the opener so we could not get out of the garage. ProLift quickly came over to help us get the door to a point where we could manually open & close. They returned with parts and fixed it in no time, spending extra time to get the door lined up, lubed up, and running smoothly. Fast forward to Jan '25 where a cable snapped on a Sunday evening. Now the door won't close. Another call to ProLift and here comes the owner, in the cold and dark to help us get the door closed. The next morning his crew came early to replace both cables, lined up and lubed up the door again and we are back in business, with a 1-year warranty to boot. Very nice people, professional, responsive, meticulous workmanship. They have earned my respect, trust, and business.

Travis and his associate did an amazing job replacing our garage motor, sensors, and remotes! They also installed weather stripping all along the garage! We have been pleased with their work, and they came on a very chilly day to do it all with zero complaints of it being cold from either of them! I am so grateful for the exceptional service provided by ProLift Garage Doors of West Des Moines. On a Friday afternoon just before an ice storm was predicted to hit, my garage door stopped working. I submitted a service request to my home warranty company and they assigned the request to ProLift. It was 7 pm and technically 'after-hours' before the technician, Trent, was able to reach out to me. Fortunately, he was able to troubleshoot and help me resolve the issue over the phone and get home safely before the freezing rain started. Trent was kind and helpful and provided me with clear instructions, allowing for a quick resolution to the issue without hassle. What impressed me most was that ProLift did not charge me for this after-hours help since they didn't need to make an actual service visit to my house. This level of customer service and care is rare these days and truly appreciated. We used ProLift Garage Doors out of Des Moines to install a fairly large (11'x18') overhead door and side-mount operator in a storage building. Trent and his installer Travis were awesome! First off, our shed is located 90 miles north of Des Moines (next to a cabin we own on a lake), and Trent was more than willing to go that distance. He asked all the right questions to ensure we got just the door we needed, made some valuable suggestions, and never oversold us with options we did not need. Travis showed up and did a wonderful job on installation. There was an adjustment issue that came up shortly after install, and they were right there the next day to address. The door looks and works great! I can't say enough about ProLift Garage Doors and would highly recommend them for any kind of overhead door need.
