Children’s Charity Organizations
What better way to serve, than to donate our time, resources, and money to local charitable organizations that help children. Here in 2022, ProLift is taking part in sponsorships and volunteering to help build the following charities. Please click the links below to learn more about events and how you too can help.
Joe Joe Bear Foundation
Their Mission: Around-the-clock comfort is offered to children in the form of a teddy bear; educational resources and support are offered to their families to give information they need during the challenging time of caring for their sick child.
Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance
Their Mission: Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance provides emotional, educational, and practical support to families of children with cancer.

Little Sharing Library Donations
ProLift Garage Doors of Sugar Land is donating a “Little Sharing Library” to neighborhoods across the West Houston area for kids to share books with each other. The owner and his family have loved having these in their neighborhood and realized that many places don’t yet have them. So, at the Katy Home and Garden show, ProLift displayed one of the libraries and asked all people passing by if they’d like one donated to their neighborhood. More than a dozen people signed up! ProLift Garage Doors has been working with each of the HOAs to get approval for the projects, and Willow Creek Farms received the first donation.

Annual Scholarship Award
The ProLift Garage Doors family recognizes how important furthering your education is to your success in life. Whether your continuing education is through a traditional college, or through a trade school, we know the value of the effort you are putting in, day in and day out. We also understand the expenses associated with your journey. This is why we’ve decided to step in and help where we can with this annual scholarship award. Our hope is that we can help the young women and men of the future focus on their educations and not their expenses.
If you or someone you know is interested in applying for our $500 ProLift Garage Door Scholarship Award, please submit your name, contact information, and essay to sugarland@www.proliftdoors.com before December 15th.
Scholarship Award – $500 annually non-renewable
Requirements:
– Applicant must be a high school senior or currently attending an accredited university, college, or trade school in the state of Texas.
– Must have a current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
– Must be a resident in one of the areas we serve.
– Applicants must submit an essay with a minimum of 500 words about what they aspire to accomplish in life, why, and how they plan to achieve it.
