Chris Petersen moved to the Savannah area in 2008, and started ProLift Garage Doors of Savannah in 2017. His background includes being a former Golf Professional and a Sales and Marketing Executive. During his earlier careers, Chris spent many of nights away from home and wanted to find something that would allow him to be home with his wife and three children. With many nights away, Chris missed much of his older children’s younger days, and decided that being home to be with the kids was more important that anything else that life had to offer. It was then that he decided that being his own boss was the direction that he wanted to pursue, thus allowing him to be a more hands on Father for his children.
Chris’ main goal in ProLift has always been to treat customers with respect and fairness, while offering the highest quality service and products possible. Chris set out to find a quality staff to help achieve his customer satisfaction goals, and to this day ProLift does not sub out any work. All ProLift employees pass extensive background checks and come with firsthand knowledge of the company goals and priorities. Chris first brought on Evan Tersigni as the General Manager due to his incredible talent and skills needed to perform his role of managing the technicians as well as overseeing the Commercial side of the business. Evan came with much needed welding experience, which is necessary when doing Commercial overhead doors. Evan and Chris together built a solid team of highly skilled technicians that are part of the growing ProLift Team.
In addition to owning ProLift Garage Doors of Savannah, Chris also helps coach his kid’s athletics, and still tries to get in as much golf as possible. According to Chris, he is living his ultimate dream of watching his children grow up into fine young adults and can’t wait to continue to watch what this world has in store for them.
