Amy has a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Southern Indiana and is currently a first-grade teacher for the Center Grove School Corporation.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March 2020, Kyle’s video production business took a massive hit as many of his jobs canceled and went away. Always looking for the “silver lining,” this break in work helped Kyle focus on finishing Graduate School at Ball State University. He graduated in July 2020. With Kyle’s video business still not even close to “back to normal,” he hired a business coach in September 2020 to navigate this unprecedented period.

The business coach suggested looking into the home services industry (because stuff always breaks around the house and needs to be fixed) and franchises that are offered in that space. After spending 6 months doing research and as Kyle likes to say, “dating 5 different franchises,” Kyle and Amy settled on ProLift as part of Premium Service Brands.

“Being a member of the ProLift family has been interesting and challenging, having to learn a business that I was completely new to. However, getting to serve people in and around my community here in Indianapolis and Johnson County has been a huge blessing to me.” Kyle remarked. Additionally, Kyle added, “Nobody really thinks much about their garage door; I know I didn’t, until it isn’t working. Then suddenly, it can be a problem, especially if there’s a car trapped inside…and that’s where we come in and save the day!”

Kyle is a two-time graduate of Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a master’s degree in Emerging Media Design and Development. Kyle has been self-employed since 2006.
