Not sure if anyone else has experienced a broken garage door spring, but it was quite a scare for us. My daughter came home, walked inside, and said it sounded like a car had driven through the house. Terrifying—especially when you’re a teenager home alone.
After checking around, the only thing we found wrong was that the garage door wouldn’t open. We called Pro Lift for a service visit, and it turned out our main spring had completely snapped. Pro Lift came and was able to replace the spring the same day.
